2. About Dentour
Dentour is an online marketplace that connects Patients seeking dental care with independent dental Clinics, primarily in Europe. Dentour operates as a technology platform and directory service — we are not a dental care provider, medical practice, or healthcare institution.
Key points:
- Dentour does not provide dental treatment, medical advice, or healthcare services of any kind.
- All dental services are performed by independent Clinics that are solely responsible for the quality, legality, and safety of the care they provide.
- Dentour does not endorse, guarantee, or verify the qualifications, licences, quality of treatment, or outcomes of any Clinic listed on the Platform, unless explicitly stated.
- Information displayed on the Platform (e.g., pricing, services, availability) is provided by Clinics and is subject to change without notice to Dentour.
3. Eligibility
To use the Platform, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, if higher).
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
- Not have been previously suspended or removed from the Platform.
If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organisation (e.g., a Clinic), you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
4. Accounts & Registration
4.1 Account Creation
Certain features of the Platform require you to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
- Keep your registration information up to date.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
4.2 Account Security
You must immediately notify us at security@dentour.eu if you become aware of any unauthorised access to or use of your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised use of your account.
4.3 Account Types
The Platform supports the following account types:
- Patient Account — for individuals seeking dental services.
- Clinic Account — for dental practices managing their profile via the Clinic Portal. May include multiple Clinic Users under a single organisation.
4.4 Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at privacy@dentour.eu or through your account settings. Upon deletion, we will handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
5. Platform Services
Through the Platform, Dentour provides:
- Clinic directory — searchable listings of dental clinics with profiles, services, and indicative pricing.
- Quote request transmission — tools for Patients to describe their dental needs and receive quotes from Clinics.
- Informational content — general articles and guides about dental services and dental tourism (not medical advice).
- Account management — dashboards for Patients and Clinic Users to manage their profiles and interactions.
We may add, modify, or discontinue features of the Platform at any time, with or without notice. We will make commercially reasonable efforts to notify Users of material changes.
6. Quote Requests & Lead Flow
6.1 How Quote Requests Work
When a Patient submits a Quote Request, Dentour transmits the information provided (treatment needs, contact details, and any uploaded materials) to one or more relevant Clinics. This process is a lead transmission service — Dentour acts as an intermediary.
6.2 No Guarantees
- Dentour does not guarantee that a Clinic will respond to your Quote Request, or respond within any particular time frame.
- Dentour does not guarantee any specific price, availability, or treatment outcome.
- Pricing and service details provided by Clinics are indicative only and may differ from a final quote or treatment plan provided after a clinical examination.
6.3 Clinic Independence
Clinics set their own prices, terms, cancellation policies, and availability. Any contractual relationship arising from a Quote Request is between the Patient and the Clinic directly. Dentour is not a party to that agreement.
6.4 Accuracy of Information
When submitting a Quote Request, you agree to provide truthful and accurate information about your dental needs. Providing false or misleading information may result in suspension of your account.
7. Additional Terms for Clinics
7.1 Clinic Responsibilities
By creating a Clinic profile on the Platform, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information about your practice, services, pricing, and qualifications.
- Maintain all necessary licences, certifications, and insurance as required by the laws of your jurisdiction.
- Respond to Quote Requests in good faith and in a timely manner.
- Not engage in misleading advertising or bait-and-switch pricing.
- Comply with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations, and professional standards.
7.2 Clinic Content
Clinics are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content they publish on the Platform, including clinic descriptions, service lists, pricing, photos, and any other materials. Dentour reserves the right to review, edit, or remove Clinic Content that violates these Terms.
7.3 Verification
Dentour may, at its discretion, implement verification processes for Clinics (e.g., licence checks, accreditation reviews). Verified status, where displayed, indicates that a Clinic has passed Dentour's internal checks — it does not constitute an endorsement, warranty, or guarantee of quality.
8. Payments
8.1 Current Payment Model
As of the effective date of these Terms, Dentour does not process payments between Patients and Clinics. Any payment for dental services is made directly between the Patient and the Clinic, under terms agreed between those parties.
8.2 Future Payment Services
Dentour may in the future introduce payment facilitation, booking deposits, or other financial services on the Platform. If and when such services are introduced, we will update these Terms (or publish supplementary terms) and notify you before those services become available.
9. User Content
9.1 Ownership
You retain ownership of the Content you submit to the Platform. However, by submitting Content, you grant Dentour a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable licence to use, reproduce, modify, display, distribute, and create derivative works of that Content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform.
This section applies only to Content you submit to the Platform. It does not apply to third-party content the Platform displays from elsewhere, such as the Google Maps reviews described in section 9.4(b), which remain subject to the terms of the service they were published on.
9.2 Content Standards
You agree that your Content will not:
- Be false, misleading, or deceptive.
- Infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
- Contain unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or threatening material.
- Contain viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
9.3 Moderation
Dentour reserves the right — but has no obligation — to monitor, review, edit, or remove any Content at our sole discretion. We may remove Content that we believe violates these Terms, is harmful, or is otherwise objectionable.
9.4 Reviews and Ratings
The Platform displays reviews from two distinct sources.
(a) Reviews submitted to Dentour. These must reflect genuine, first-hand experiences. Dentour may remove reviews that appear to be fake, incentivised, or that violate our Content Standards.
(b) Reviews published on Google Maps. Where a clinic's Google Business listing is linked to its Dentour profile, we display reviews from that listing unchanged and with Google's attribution. Dentour does not write, verify, moderate, translate, or choose which of those reviews appear, and their authors are not Dentour users — their content remains subject to Google's own terms and privacy policy. Dentour cannot edit or remove anything on Google; the only action available to us is to stop displaying a review here, which we will do on request or where the content is unlawful. Google's rating is shown as Google's and is never combined with, or presented as, a Dentour rating.
Neither Dentour nor its partner clinics offer any payment, discount, or other benefit in exchange for a review, and we do not screen patients by expected sentiment before inviting them to leave one.
10. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or create accounts under false pretences.
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Platform by automated means without our prior written consent.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure, security, or other Users' experience.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform, other accounts, or connected systems.
- Submit spam, unsolicited messages, or bulk communications through the Platform.
- Post fake reviews, manipulate ratings, or engage in any form of review fraud.
- Circumvent the Platform to arrange services directly with Clinics discovered through Dentour in order to avoid Platform terms.
- Use the Platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform's software.
- Reproduce, duplicate, or resell any part of the Platform without our express permission.
11. Intellectual Property
11.1 Dentour's Rights
The Platform and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are owned by Dentour Group S.R.L. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The "Dentour" name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of Dentour Group S.R.L.
11.2 Limited Licence
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform for its intended purpose. This licence does not include the right to:
- Modify, reproduce, or create derivative works of the Platform.
- Use the Platform for commercial purposes beyond its intended functionality (e.g., listing your clinic, submitting quote requests).
- Use data mining, robots, or similar tools to extract data from the Platform.
11.3 Copyright Complaints
If you believe that content on the Platform infringes your copyright, please contact us at legal@dentour.eu with details of the alleged infringement.
12. Third-Party Services
The Platform may integrate with or contain links to third-party services, including but not limited to:
- Analytics providers (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Mapping services (e.g., Google Maps)
- Business listing and review content (Google Maps Platform / Places). This content is provided by Google, remains subject to Google's terms and privacy policy, and is displayed with the attribution Google requires.
- Authentication providers (e.g., Supabase Auth)
Dentour is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and policies.
13. Privacy & Cookies
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Our use of cookies and similar technologies is described in our Cookie Policy.
By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood both policies.
14. Medical Disclaimer
- The Platform provides general informational content about dental procedures and services. This content does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- Always seek the advice of a qualified dental professional for any questions regarding dental conditions or treatment options.
- Dentour does not practise medicine or dentistry and is not responsible for any clinical decisions made by Clinics or Patients.
- Treatment outcomes depend on individual clinical circumstances. Any indicative information on the Platform (including pricing, procedure descriptions, and estimated timelines) should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional dental consultation.
15. Disclaimers
15.1 "As Is" Basis
The Platform and Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
- Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content.
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation.
- That the Platform will meet your specific requirements.
15.2 Clinic Services
Dentour disclaims all liability for the dental services provided by Clinics, including but not limited to: quality of care, treatment outcomes, pricing accuracy, scheduling, cancellations, and professionalism of clinic staff.
15.3 Availability
We do not warrant that the Platform will be available at all times. We may experience downtime for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned maintenance.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- Dentour (including Dentour Group S.R.L., its directors, employees, agents, and affiliates) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to: loss of profits, data, goodwill, business opportunity, or any intangible losses, arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform.
- Dentour's total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amounts you paid to Dentour (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) €100.
- Dentour is not liable for any acts, omissions, negligence, or malpractice of any Clinic, dental professional, or third party.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be lawfully excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
If you are a consumer, the exclusions and the cap above apply only so far as the mandatory law of your country of habitual residence allows. They do not reduce any remedy that law gives you, and they do not limit our liability for a failure to provide the Platform with reasonable care and skill.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dentour Group S.R.L. and its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:
- Your use of the Platform.
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your Content.
- Your interaction with any Clinic or other User.
- Your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.
18. Termination & Suspension
18.1 Termination by You
You may stop using the Platform and close your account at any time. See Section 4.4 for account deletion procedures.
18.2 Termination or Suspension by Dentour
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Violation of these Terms.
- Engagement in prohibited conduct.
- Fraudulent or abusive behaviour.
- Extended inactivity.
- Legal or regulatory requirements.
Where possible, we will provide notice before or promptly after suspending or terminating your account, along with the reason for the action.
18.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. The following sections survive termination: 1 (Definitions), 9 (User Content), 11 (Intellectual Property), 15 (Disclaimers), 16 (Limitation of Liability), 17 (Indemnification), 19 (Governing Law), and 21 (General Provisions).
19. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
19.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Moldova, where Dentour Group S.R.L. is established.
If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection afforded to you by provisions that cannot be derogated from by agreement under the law of the country where you have your habitual residence. Where the mandatory consumer law of your home country gives you greater protection than Moldovan law, that protection applies.
19.2 Dispute Resolution
Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to first contact us at legal@dentour.eu and attempt to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days.
If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings against us either in the courts of the Republic of Moldova or in the courts of the country where you are domiciled, and we may bring proceedings against you only in the courts of the country where you are domiciled. Nothing in these Terms removes that right.
If you are not a consumer — for example a clinic, supplier, or other business user — each party submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Moldova.
Out-of-court resolution: nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights, including any right to refer a dispute to a competent alternative dispute resolution body or to the consumer protection authority of your country of residence. Consumers resident in the European Union can find their national contact point through the European Consumer Centres Network (ECC-Net).
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes:
- We will post the updated Terms with a new "Last Updated" date.
- We will notify registered Users at least 14 days before the changes take effect, via email or an in-Platform notice.
- Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the Platform before the changes take effect.
21. General Provisions
21.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Dentour regarding your use of the Platform.
21.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
21.3 Waiver
Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
21.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms (or your rights and obligations under them) without our prior written consent. Dentour may assign these Terms without restriction.
21.5 Language
These Terms are drafted in English. Translations into other languages (Russian, Romanian, Hebrew) are provided for convenience only. In the event of any conflict between the English version and a translated version, the English version shall prevail.
21.6 Force Majeure
Dentour shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, internet disruptions, or cyberattacks.
